BDC SENIOR TOURNAMENT
Bringing the game to our seniors — an annual community event
In partnership with Region Nine Housing Corporation, BDC brings tournaments, great food, and live music directly to senior residents — because community is about showing up for one another.

THE PROMISE
We don't wait for our seniors to come to us — we set the tables, plug in the music, plate the food, and bring the game right to where they live.
— WE COME TO THEM. —
Day a year, on their turf
The community shows up — at the front door.
Each year BDC partners with Region Nine Housing Corporation to host a dominoes tournament right inside a Region Nine senior community. We arrive with tables, music, and a full meal — and we play. It's a day of laughter, friendly rivalry, and the kind of connection that reminds our elders they are seen, valued, and remembered.
Because the game is best played shoulder-to-shoulder, and the brotherhood is biggest when it travels to where it's needed most.

BDC SENIOR TOURNAMENT
IN PARTNERSHIP WITH
The BDC Senior Tournament is an annual event that brings the joy of dominoes directly to our senior community. In collaboration with Region Nine Housing Corporation, the Brotherhood Dominoes Club visits Region Nine properties to set up tournaments for residents — a day filled with games, great food, and great music.
Seniors are sometimes a forgotten group in our communities. We believe in bringing the game to them, creating opportunities for connection, engagement, and joy right where they live. The Senior Tournament is more than a competition — it's a celebration of community, friendship, and the timeless appeal of dominoes.

What Makes This Event Special
Dominoes tournaments
Multiple tournament tables set up inside Region Nine properties, giving residents the chance to compete, socialize, and enjoy the game they love. All skill levels welcome — from beginners to seasoned players.
Bringing the game to them
Seniors are too often overlooked. This event brings the excitement and community connection directly to where they live, so everyone has the chance to take part.
Great food & music
Delicious food and live music turn the day into a real celebration — it's not just about the games, it's about coming together as a community.
Community connection
Real relationships form between BDC members and senior residents — connections that go beyond tournament day and remind our elders they are valued and remembered.
Our Mission
The Senior Tournament reflects BDC's commitment to ensuring that no member of our community is forgotten. Seniors have given so much to our neighborhoods — this event is our way of giving back, bringing joy, entertainment, and connection directly to them.
By bringing the game to Region Nine properties, we remove barriers to participation and create moments of community that might not otherwise exist. Every year, this event reminds us that community is about connection — and connection is about showing up for one another.
